Call for Manuscripts |
|
Excellence in Higher Education (EHE) invites scholars from all disciplines of educational research to contribute manuscripts. EHE seeks submissions based on high-quality, original research, including theoretical as well as policy-oriented manuscripts. EHE is particularly eager to encourage submissions on a range of topics that include, but are not limited to: higher education management/management issues, innovations in higher education structure(s) (e.g., collaborations/mergers), active learning, targeted community outreach programs or initiatives, and interdisciplinary research (e.g., to address major contemporary concerns requiring multiple theoretical or policy lenses). The editors of EHE encourage scholars to use innovative methods of research, to explore educational problems from new angles, and include cross-disciplinary engagement with educational research. EHE acknowledges the importance of the review process in the publication process for shaping the individual manuscript. Manuscripts submitted to EHE are judged according to the following criteria: importance of the topic, appropriateness for EHE, quality of research (i.e., theoretical framework, research methods, discussion, etc.), and quality of writing. Manuscripts that the editors of EHE consider to be relevant and sufficiently developed are refereed using a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts under consideration by EHE should not simultaneously be under consideration by any other publication. |
